Our Team
Tracie & the other self-employed stylists have many years of hairdressing experience. They have worked together as hairdressers for over 20 years.
House of Hair’s owner, Tracie Sheppard, began hairdressing at a salon in Chandlers Ford as soon as she left school in 1986. She loved hairdressing so much she eventually bought the salon and ran it for 16 years, before moving to open House of Hair in Bishopstoke in 2008. Contact Tracie on Tel: 07740 201517.

Focal Point Highlights
These highlights work similarly to how you might apply makeup highlighter to create a focal point on your cheekbones. Your hair is gently highlighted to add depth, dimension and contouring to your hairstyle.
Peek-a-Boo Colouring
Peek-a-boo highlights are where you have hidden dyed hair in a different colour under the top layer of hair, to give a contrasting effect. Whether you want one bold, contrasting colour or a delicate blend of colours, House of Hair can provide it. Peek-a-boo colour is great if you want a more sober look for the office that you can wear up later, revealing your more colourful side!
Face-framing Colour
Face-framing highlights are usually applied in a lighter colour than the rest of your hair, at the front of your hair, around the face. This gives a lifting and brightening effect that frames the face and adds an extra dimension to your hairstyle
Bouncy Blow Dry
The Bouncy Blow Dry technique is ideal for long hairstyles. If you want to add body to a long style (think Kate Middleton) then the Bouncy Blow Dry is for you. Each section of hair is slowly dried individually, with large rollers kept in place to create long-lasting volume and curls. The size of the curls can be varied, depending on the look you want to achieve.
KeraStraight Ultimate Treatment
The KeraStraight Ultimate Treatment is an award-winning straightening and repair product. It uses advanced protein technology to transform the shape and condition of all hair types. It is used to renew dry, damaged and weak hair, defluffing and defrizzing it. It last for up to four months.
